Rosa is a highly talented documentary film-maker who has directed award-winning, innovative films that have been made and shown around the world. Her interest in opening up surprising perspectives and experiences through compelling human stories has taken her from Rio to Mumbai, Bamako to Birmingham. She has recently completed two documentary features, “Casablanca Calling”, about Morocco’s first female Muslim leaders, and “Pirates of Sale”, about four young people hoping to transform their futures though a circus school.

In addition to her broadcast work, Rosa has worked with a number of NGOs, including Plan International, YMCA, Save the Children and RNID. She is a trustee of the participatory video organisation Living Lens, who use video as a tool to work with conflict resolution and with excluded groups of people in the UK and abroad.
